External Technicians
In ServiceChannel, there are two types of technicians, Internal Technicians and External Technicians. Internal Technicians are employed by the client and External Technicians are employed by Service Providers.
As an External Technician, the features that are available to you in ServiceChannel Provider will be dependent on the clients that you work for. Therefore, features that may be available when servicing Client A may not be available when servicing Client B. However, rest assured, that the features needed will be available.
There are two ways that External Technicians can log into ServiceChannel Provider. The method that the External technician uses to log into ServiceChanel Provider depends on largely on the requirements of the client and to a lesser degree their company’s policies.
